Simeon is of the opinion that Mikra is determinant and thus all the three <i>bassukkoth</i> are to be read in the plural, making a total of six. One of these is required for the command itself, leaving four, and the fourth is diminished in virtue of the Sinaitic <i>Halachah</i>, to a handbreadth.
