כל מיני חיות יפות לחלום חוץ מן הפיל והקוף והקפוד והאמר מר הרואה פיל בחלום פלא נעשה לו לא קשיא הא דמסרג הא דלא מסרג

To dream of any species of animal is a good omen with the exception of the elephant, monkey and long-tailed ape. But a teacher has said : Who dreams of an elephant, a miracle will be wrought for him ! There is no contradiction ; the latter refers to where it is bridled and the other to where it is not bridled.
