R'Judah and R'Simeon maintained: It was burnt because of defilement, for if because of bereavement, they should have burnt the three.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Three he-goats were sacrificed, yet only one was burnt.');"><sup>5</sup></span> Another argument: they would have been fit to eat them in the evening.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' R. Simeon holds that aninuth does not extend to the following evening by Scriptural law at all. And even R.
