אלא דיו לבא מן הדין להיות כנדון

'An example<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Lit., 'how'. ');"><sup>15</sup></span> of an inference from minor to major [is]. And the Lord said to Moses: 'If her father had but spit in her face, should she not hide in shame seven days?'<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Num. XII, 14. ');"><sup>16</sup></span> [Would not one expect, by] inference from minor to major, [that in the case] of the divine presence, [she should hide in shame for] fourteen days?<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' If seven days is the period for a father (who is only a mortal), fourteen days, at least, (double), should be the period in the case of the divine presence. ');"><sup>17</sup></span>
