תניא ר"א אומר עולם

<i>As the small rain</i> [<i>se'irim</i>]<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' [H] ');"><sup>25</sup></span> <i>upon the tender grass</i>:<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Deut. XXXII, 2. ');"><sup>26</sup></span> this is the east wind which rages through the world like a demon [<i>sa'ir</i>].<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Lit., 'he-goat'. It was anciently believed that hegoats were possessed with demons. Cf. Zohar, on Lev. XVII.
