לעולם אימא לך ניזונת תנן טעמא מאי אמור רבנן מציאת אשה לבעלה דלא תיהוי לה איבה הני תיהוי להו איבה

I could still tell you that what we teach “is to be maintained.” Why then did the Rabbis say that the find of a wife belonged to her husband. So that he would not have enmity against her, but as regards these let them bear the grudge.
