Rab Huna said : Should one enter a Synagogue and find the Congregation saying the Tefillah, if he is able to commence and finish before the Precentor reaches the words "We give thanks unto Thee," he should say the Tefillah; but if not, he should not say it. R. Joshua b. Levi said : If he is able to commence and finish before the Precentor reaches the "Sanctification," he should say the Tefillah ; but if not, he should not say it.
