א"ר אבין בר רב אדא אמר ר' יצחק מפני מה אין פירות גינוסר בירושלים כדי שלא יהו עולי רגלים אומרים אלמלא לא עלינו אלא לאכול פירות גינוסר בירושלים דיינו נמצאת עלייה שלא לשמה

- [That is necessary] for R'Ammi's [teaching]. For R'Ammi said: Every man who owns land must make the Festival pilgrimage; but he who does not own land need not make the Festival pilgrimage.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' This follows from the fact that the Almighty assures the pilgrim that his land will be safe in his absence, which proves that the command refers only to those who possess land.');"><sup>12</sup></span> R'Abin son of R'Adda said in R'Isaac's name: Why are there no fruits of Gennesaret<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' A lake so named from the fertile plain lying on its western side. In the O.T., it is called Yam Kinnereth or Kinneroth; Num. XXXIV. 11; Josh. XII, 3. On its western shore lay Tiberias. - Its fruit was particularly delicious.');"><sup>13</sup></span>
