שני מלוין ולוה אחד ושני שטרות היינו מתניתין ב' לווין ומלוה אחד ושני שטרות מאי תיקו

but R'Hisda said: What do we want with false witnesses!<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Neither set is qualified to testify, because one set is false.');">²²</span> [Where there are] two lenders and two borrowers and two documents - is the point at issue between them.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Two separate cases of lender, borrower and bond; one set of these witnesses had signed the bond in one case, and the other had signed the bond in the other case. According to R. Huna, both bonds are correct and legally enforceable, and according to R. Hisda, both bonds are invalid.');">²³</span>
