ונימא הלכה כרבי עקיבא אי אמר הלכה כרבי עקיבא הוה אמינא אפי' בארץ קמ"ל כל המיקל בארץ הלכה כמותו בחוצה לארץ אבל בארץ לא

Then let him say that the Halakah is in agreement with R. 'Akiba! If he had said that the Halakah is in agreement with R. 'Akiba, I might have thought that [that is so] even in the Land of Israel ; therefore he informs us : Whoever takes a lenient view within the Land, the Halakah is in accord with him outside the Land, but not within.
