לא שמיעא לי ואי הוה שמיעא לי קיימתה
R'Samuel B'Nahmani said in the name of R'Johanan: Because of seven things the plague of leprosy is incurred: [These are:] slander, the shedding of blood, vain oath,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' The taking of the Lord's name in vain being a great offence.
