Commentary for Berakhot 116:13

וגמירי אי לאו עוקצא דעקרבא דמנח בנהר דינור כל מאן דהוה טריקא ליה עקרבא לא הוה חיי והיינו דקאמר ליה רחמנא לאיוב (איוב לח, לא) התקשר מעדנות כימה או מושכות כסיל תפתח

There is also a tradition : Were it not that the tail of the Scorpion was placed in the Fire-River, nobody who had been stung by a scorpion could live. That is what the All-merciful said to Job, "Canst thou bind the chains of the Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?" (Job xxxviii. 31).
