כרבי יאשיה בכלאים כדכתיב (דברים כב, ט) (כרמך) לא תזרע [כרמך] כלאים רבי יאשיה אומר לעולם אינו חייב עד שיזרע חטה ושעורה וחרצן במפולת יד
According to R. Josiah in the matter of diverse seeds — for there is a teaching: [not translated] R. Josiah says : A man is not guilty [of the infraction of this law] until he sows wheat, barley and kernels with one throw of the hand.

In place of these words, some edd. read : As it is written, "Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with two kinds of seeds" (ibid. xxii. 9).
