Commentary for Berakhot 56:18

ואמר ר' תנחום אמר רבי יהושע בן לוי המתפלל צריך שיכרע עד שיתפקקו כל חוליות שבשדרה

R. Tanhum also said in the name of R. Joshua b. Levi : When one says the Tefillah, he must bow until all the vertebrae in the spine are loosened.
