איכא דאמרי בשלמא למאן דאמר בושלי כמרא היינו דמברכינן עלייהו שהכל אלא למ"ד תמרי דזיקא שהכל בורא פרי העץ מבעי ליה לברוכי

Another version : It is quite right according to him who says nobelot means "Fruit scorched by the sun" that over it we pronounce the benediction "...By Whose word"; but according to him who says [it means] "Dates blown from the tree by the wind" the benediction "...By Whose word" should rather be "...Who createst the fruit of the tree" !
