Commentary for Berakhot 88:14

וא"ר יצחק כל האוכל ירק קודם ארבע שעות אסור לספר הימנו מאי טעמא משום ריחא וא"ר יצחק אסור לאדם שיאכל ירק חי קודם ארבע שעות

R. Isaac also said : It is forbidden to converse with him who has eaten [raw] herbs before the fourth hour of the day. For what reason ? Because of the evil odour. R. Isaac also said : It is forbidden for a man to eat raw herbs before the fourth hour of the day.
