כל השרץ השורץ על הארץ לרבות תולעת שבעיקרי זיתים ושבעיקרי גפנים
Now presumably each [Baraitha] speaks of [insects found in] the fruit, and [yet there is no contradiction between them, for] th latter [Baraitha] refers to fruit during growth, whereas the former to fruit no longer growing!<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' I.e., worms found in fruit while still upon the tree are forbidden, but those found in plucked fruit are permitted.
