אביו שלא אמו ואמו שלא אביו מנין
that is, he has cursed his father, he has cursed his mother:<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' For at the beginning of the verse: 'that curseth' is in immediate proximity to 'his father', and at the end of the verse: 'he hath cursed' is in immediate proximity to 'his mother'; thus showing that he who curses either parent is liable.');"><sup>9</sup></span>
