אלמא מתנות דכהן לא מזבין איניש הכא נמי מתנות דכהן לא מזבין איניש

Hence it is clear that no man sells the priestly dues; here, too, the priest's due no man sells.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' And therefore whenever the seller keeps back anything for himself it is to be presumed that he has kept back the priest's due, for that he certainly would not sell.');">¹</span>
