[ו] איזן וחקר תיקן משלים הרבה אמר עולא אמר רבי אליעזר בתחילה היתה תורה דומה לכפיפה שאין לה אזנים עד שבא שלמה ועשה לה אזנים
It is better that I myself should die than that I should transgress against the opinion of my colleagues'.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Who ordained the washing of the hands before meals.');"><sup>24</sup></span> It was related that he tasted nothing until the other had brought him water wherewith to wash his hands.
