ותרוייהו לקולא וצריכא דאי אשמעינן הלכה כרבי יוסי הוה אמינא עד דאיכא שומירה או בית דירה קמ"ל הלכה כר' עקיבא

And both [these rulings] are on the side of leniency; and [both were] required.
