Now, do they not differ in the following: The one which teaches that he is liable holds that the night does not render a period wanting in time;<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' I.e., whenever a certain period has been fixed after the elapse of which one is liable to a certain duty, e.g., the offering of a sacrifice, and there is only a night intervening, the period may be regarded as accomplished.
