Commentary for Ketubot 109:4

בני מתא מחסיא אמרי טרפא ממשעבדי יסבון תנן והלכתא לא טרפא ממשעבדי ירתון תנן

They do collect from sold or mortgaged property, for we have learned, “They collect [their mother’s ketubah]” And the law is that it that they do not collect from sold or mortgaged property, since we have learned, “They inherit.”
