היכי דמיא מורדת אמר אמימר דאמרה בעינא ליה ומצערנא ליה אבל אמרה מאיס עלי לא כייפינן לה מר זוטרא אמר כייפינן לה

What is the case of “the rebellious woman”? Amemar said: [One] who says, “I want him but wish to torment him.” But if she said, “He is repulsive to me,” they do not force her to remain with him. Mar Zutra ruled: They do force her.
