ומאי שנא עד שלשים יום עד שלשים יום עביד שליח שליחותיה טפי לא עביד שליח שליחותיה

Why is [allow for] not more than thirty days? For up to thirty days an agent will perform his mission; for a longer period he will not perform his mission.
