אימר דאמרינן הכי גבי מומין לענין מזוני מי אמרינן הכי אלא מחוורתא כדשנינן מעיקרא:

But say such a plea is acceptable in respect of bodily defects; is it admissible, however, in respect of maintenance? Rather it is clear that we can only explain as we explained at first.
