א"ל בר בי רב שפיר קא אמרת מכדי כל תנאי מהיכא גמרינן מתנאי בני גד ובני ראובן

The other replied: You young student, did you speak well? Consider: From where do we derive [the law of the validity of] any condition? From the condition in respect of the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuven.
