א"ר יהודה אמר שמואל המחליף פרה בחמור ומשך בעל החמור את הפרה ולא הספיק בעל הפרה למשוך את החמור עד שמת החמור על בעל החמור להביא ראיה שהיה חמורו קיים בשעת משיכת פרה

Rav Judah said in the name of Shmuel: If a man exchanged a cow for [another man's] doney, and the owner of the donkey drew the cow towards him but the owner of the cow did not manage to pull the donkey before the donkey died, it is for the owner of the donkey to prove that his donkey was alive at the time the cow was pulled.
