Commentary for Ketubot 153:1

ונכפה כמומין שבסתר דמי והני מילי דקביע ליה זמן אבל לא קביע ליה כמומין שבגלוי דמי:

Epilepsy is regarded as a concealed bodily defects This, however, applies only to attacks which occur at regular periods, but if they are irregular [epilepsy is regarded] as [one of the] exposed bodily defects.
