שכיבא אימיה ולא איערערא ואתא איהו וקא מערער סבר רמי בר חמא למימר איהו במקום אימיה קאי א"ל רבא נהי דאחריות דידה לא קביל עליה אחריות דידיה מי לא קביל

His mother then died having raised no objections but he came and objected. Rami b. Hama thought to say that he stands in the place of his mother. Rava said to him: Let it be that he did not accept responsibility for her actions, but did he not accept responsibility for his own actions?
