עסיקין עד שלא החזיק בה יכול לחזור בו משהחזיק בה אינו יכול לחזור בו משום דאמר ליה חייתא דקיטרי סברת וקבילת ומאימת מחזיק בה מכי דייש אמצרי

the laws is that Reuven may proceed to compensate the creditor and [the latter] cannot say to him, “You are no party to me” for [the other can] say to him, “For whatever you will take away from him he will turn to me [to claim compensation].”
