Commentary for Ketubot 188:10

א"ל אנא נמי שודא דדייני א"ל חדא דאנא דיינא ומר לאו דיינא ועוד מעיקרא לאו בתורת הכי אתית לה

He said back: “I too acted at the discretion of the judges.” He (R. Nahman) said back: “In the first place I am a judge and the Master is not a judge, and furthermore, at first you did not come with this argument.”
