איקלע רבנאי אחוה דר' חייא בר אבא למזבן שומשמי ואמר הכי אמר שמואל עד ודיין מצטרפין אמר אמימר כמה מעליא הא שמעתא אמר ליה רב אשי לאמימר משום דקלסה אבוה דאמך את נמי מקלסת לה כבר פרכה רבא:

Rabbanai, the brother of R. Hiyya b. Abba, came to buy sesame and he said: Thus Shmuel said: Witness and judge are joined together. Amemar said: How excellent is this tradition! Ashi said to Amemar: Because the father of your mother praised it, you also praise it! Rava has already refuted it.
