רבא אמר לעולם תרי ותרי נינהו וראה ר' יוחנן דבריו של ר' מנחם בר יוסי בגרושין ולא ראה במיתה מ"ט מיתה אינה יכולה מכחשתו גרושין יכולה מכחשתו

Rava said: Indeed, they are two and two, and R. Yohanan agreed with the words of R. Menahem b. Yose in [the case of] divorce, but not in [the case of] death. Why? In the case of death, she cannot contradict him, [but] in the case of divorce, she can contradict him.
