שור הנסקל לאו דידיה הוא דקטבח אמר רבה הכא במאי עסקינן כגון שמסרו לשומר והזיק בבית שומר ונגמר דיניה בבית שומר וגנבו גנב מבית שומר

[But with regard to] the ox that is to he stoned, it is not his that he is slaughtering? Rabbah said: What are we dealing with here? When he handed it to a guardian and it caused the damage in the house of the guardian and it was sentenced in the house of the guardian and a thief stole it from the house of the guardian.
