אמר לי היכא אמרינן ניתי עשה ונידחי ל"ת כגון מילה בצרעת דלא אפשר לקיומיה לעשה אבל הכא אי אמרה דלא בעינא מי איתיה לעשה כלל:

He said to me: When do we say that a positive commandment supersedes a negative one? In a case like circumcision on a place of scale disease since otherwise it would be impossible to fulfill the positive commandment, but here, if she should say that she did not want to marry him, would [the question of the performance of] the positive commandment ever arise?
