אמר ר' יוסי בר חנינא המוציא שם רע על היתומה פטור שנאמר (דברים כב, יט) ונתנו לאבי הנערה פרט לזו שאין לה אב

Yose b. Hanina said: A man who brought an evil name upon an orphan girl is exempt, as it is said, “And he shall give them to the father of the girl,” (Deuteronomy 22:19) to exclude this girl who has no father.
