R. Meir says: Esther was composed under the inspiration of the holy spirit, as it says, “And the thing became known to Mordecai” (2:22). Yose b. Durmaskit said: Esther was composed under the inspiration of the holy spirit, as it says, “But on the spoil they laid not their hands” (9:10).
