ומנא לן דלא אתי לעלמא דאתי דכתיב (מלכים א כא, כא) והכרתי לאחאב משתין בקיר ועצור ועזוב בישראל עצור בעוה"ז ועזוב לעוה"ב
Yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Hosea XII, 12. ');"><sup>11</sup></span> R. Johanan said: [This teaches that] there is no furrow in Palestine upon which Ahab did not plant an idol and worship it.
