תנא דבי ר"י מערב אדם קב חומטון בכור של תבואה ואינו חושש:
Some time later the three met in one place; said they, Shammai's impatience sought to drive us from the world, but Hillel's gentleness brought us under the wings of the <i>Shechinah</i>.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' From these stories it would appear that proselytes were eagerly accepted by Hillel; v.
