דבי נשיאה גזר תעניתא ולא אודעינהו לרבי יוחנן ולריש לקיש לצפרא אודעינהו אמר ליה ריש לקיש לרבי יוחנן הא לא קבילנא עלן מאורתא אמר ליה אנן בתרייהו גררינן
Whereupon he said to her, l swear,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Lit., 'By the Service of the Temple', one of the formulas of oaths.');"><sup>3</sup></span> they shall be to you as devoted property, and you shall have no more right to share in them than any poor person in Israel.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' R.
