Commentary for Taanit 57:4

וכתיב (במדבר יב, טו) ותסגר מרים שבעת ימים דהוו להו עשרין ותשעה בסיון וכתיב (במדבר יג, ב) שלח לך אנשים

And it is further written, And the mixed multitude that was among them fell a-lusting; and the children of Israel also wept on their part etc.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Ibid. XI, 4.');">⁵</span> And it is further written, But a whole month etc.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Ibid. 20.');">⁶</span> That brings us up to the twenty-second of Sivan.
