אמר לך רב הוא הדין דאע"ג דלא אתא אחר ואפסקיה לקלא אי איכא עדים מפקינן אי ליכא עדים לא מפקינן והכי קאמר דאע"ג דאתא אחר ואפסקיה לקלא לכתחלה לא יכנוס
An objection was raised: This<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' That the paramour must divorce her. ');"><sup>41</sup></span> has been said in the case only where she had no children,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' From the first husband. ');"><sup>42</sup></span> but if she has children<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' From the first husband. ');"><sup>42</sup></span> she must not be divorced.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' A divorce would be regarded as a confirmation of the suspicion, and the children would thereby be tainted as bastards.
