ת"ש חזקה לכהונה נשיאות כפים וחילוק גרנות בא"י ובסוריא ובכל מקום ששלוחי ראש חודש מגיעין נשיאות כפים ראיה אבל לא חילוק גרנות

Come and hear: [The following constitutes a] presumption for the priesthood: the lifting up of the hands and [taking a share] at the distribution at the threshing floors in the Land of Israel; in Syria and in all places to which the messengers of the New Moon come the lifting up of the hands is evidence, but not [taking a share] at the distribution at the threshing floors.
