מתקיף לה רב אשי ממאי דמותרה לדבר חמור הוי מותרה לדבר הקל דלמא לא הוי אם תמצא לומר הוי ממאי דמיתה חמורה

Ashi raised a difficulty: From where [do we know] that when one is warned regarding a severe matter one also stands warned for a light matter? Perhaps it is not so! And even if we say that it is so, how [do we know] that death is more severe?
