אמר עולא בעומדין אילנות על הגבולים ר' שמעון בן אליקים אמר גזירה שמא ישהא בעמידה:
R. Simeon b. Eliakim said: It is forbidden lest he stand and linger there.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' The land is ownerless only in respect of entering and taking its crops: this done, it reverts to its real owner. But we fear that the muddar, having eaten his fill, may tarry there, which is forbidden to him. ');"><sup>6</sup></span>
Mishnah Demai
Rabbi Eliezer says: a man need not designate the poor man’s tithe of demai. But the sages say: he must designate it, but he need not separate.
