תנו רבנן בברכותיה של ארץ ישראל בית סאה עושה חמשת ריבוא כורין בישיבתה של צוען בית סאה עושה שבעים כורין דתניא אמר רבי מאיר אני ראיתי בבקעת בית שאן בית סאה עושה שבעים כורין

Our rabbis taught: When the land of Israel is blessed a bet se’ah yields fifty thousand kor. When Tzoan was settled, a bet se’ah yielded [no more than] seventy kor. For it was taught: R. Meir said, I saw in the valley of Bet Shean that a bet se’ah yielded seventy kor.
