אמר ליה רבינא לרב אשי אלא מעתה בייש עני בן טובים דאית להו זילותא לכולהו בני משפחה ה"נ דבעי למיתן להו בושת לכל בני משפחה א"ל התם לאו גופייהו הכא אשתו גופיה הואי:

Rabina said to R. Ashi:... If so, then if a man embarrassed a poor man of a good family where all the members of the family are involved in the embarrassment, must he also pay [compensation for] embarrassment to all the members of the family? The other replied: There it is not their own person [that are insulted]. Here, however, one’s wife is [like] one’s own body.
