<big><strong>גמ׳</strong></big> מאכילתו שאינו מעושר: היכי דמי אי דידע נפרוש אי דלא ידע מנא ידע לא צריכא דאמרה ליה פלוני כהן תיקן לי את הכרי ואזיל שייליה ואשתכח שיקרא:

GEMARA. Feeding her husband with untithed food. What is the actual case? If the husband knows [the fact], let him abstain; if he does not know [it], how did he discover it? [This ruling was] required only in the case where she told him, “So-and-so the priest has prepared for me the pile of grain,” and he went and asked him and her statement was found to be untrue.
