It was asked of them: Do they raise [a person] from the lifting up of the hands to the status of a priest with regard to lineage? Ask this according to him who says [that] they raise [a person] from terumah to the status of a priest and ask it according to him who says [that] they do not raise [a person from terumah to the status of a priest].
